Beloit’s rigorous, interdisciplinary curriculum empowers students to discover and develop their strengths and prepares graduates to thrive in an ever-changing world. Students build strong resumes by applying what they learn inside the classroom to the real world through internships, fieldwork, independent research and community engagement projects, and study abroad programs. Getting in

Admission requirements

Beloit seeks curious and engaged applicants from diverse ethnic, geographic, and economic backgrounds. There are no absolute secondary school requirements, but preference is given to students who have completed the most rigorous curriculum available to them. The Admissions Committee considers a student’s transcript, essay, recommendations, as well as personal qualities.

 

How AP/IB credits are handled

Beloit College accepts transfer credit from other institutions of higher learning as well as AP, IB, or GCE A-level exams.
