The 23rd annual Wisconsin Private College Week (July 8–13, 2019) is the perfect time for high school students, transfer students, returning adults, and their families to attend visitor events at campuses across the state.
During Wisconsin Private College Week, visitors will have the chance to attend information sessions, tour campuses, meet with admissions counselors, and connect with current students. The student event evaluation form will serve as an entry into a contest to win a pair of Beats headphones–-the more campuses visited, the greater the chances of winning.
Wisconsin’s private, nonprofit colleges and universities offer educational advantages including a 60% higher chance of graduating in four years compared with Wisconsin’s public universities, an average class size of just 16 students, and many scholarship and financial aid opportunities. For the tenth year in a row, the average out-of-pocket tuition (sticker price minus financial aid) has been at or under $5,500 at Wisconsin’s private, nonprofit colleges and universities.
